Miniature golf is a feature added in Trouble in Paradise. Using seed holes and sweets, the garden can be turned into a custom minigolf course.

How to Golf

Simply dig a seed hole in the garden. A sweet can be putted toward this hole by pressing the X button. The putt's direction is determined based on the orientation of the camera-- tilting the camera upward will cause the sweet to be putted high into the air, and tilting it downward will cause the sweet to roll along the ground. The strength of the putt is determined by the distance between the camera and the cursor; a wide angle offers a strong putt and a close angle offers a gentle putt. The sweet will also leave behind a colorful trail as it travels, allowing players to easily track its path. Golf sweets can track the number of putts taken, allowing players to measure their par.

Two achievements are associated with minigolf.

Trivia

  • One of the full-motion video "attract mode" cutscenes that plays on the title screen is a demonstration of miniature golf.
