A Romance Sweet (also known as Romance Candy) is a special type of sweet that can instantly fulfill a piñata's romance requirements. This is very useful, but will only affect species for which the Romancer Award has been previously earned. In Pocket Paradise, romance sweets will work on all species, whether or not they have been romanced before.

Description

Gameplay

Romance Sweets can be fed to piñatas by directing them to it. After eating the sweet, they will become dizzy for a short time, and their romance requirements will be met. They'll still need their respective Home to romance, however.

In Viva Piñata and Trouble in Paradise, romance sweets can be purchased from Costolot's Store. In Pocket Paradise, they are instead obtained by completing Challenges. After returning from a party, piñatas will drop 1-4 romance sweets.

They can also be obtained by ordering a Macaraccoon to fetch a romance sweet via the "Find Romance Candy" action in the menu (Viva Piñata and Pocket Paradise). In Trouble in Paradise, Macaraccoons will instead occasionally cough up a Romance Sweet, without the player's input.
