Maxime is a character exclusive to the mini-games introduced in Trouble in Paradise. She wears an oversized bird costume despite being quite small, believing that being larger is how you gain respect.

Maxime was first seen in concept art for the original Viva Piñata as "The Bird Expert". She was cut, as her informational role was filled by the Journal, but her design was reused in the sequel as a mini-game participant.
