Viva Piñata: Party Animals is Viva Piñata's only spin-off game, released in 2007 for Xbox 360. It is heavily based on the 4Kids TV show, and features characters from the cartoon. Due to this, it is rather disconnected from the other games in the series.
Gameplay
Party Animals is, as its title suggests, a party game. Gameplay consists of several consecutive races, broken up with minigames in between each race. Similar to kart racers such as Mario Kart, race gameplay takes place on elaborate fantasy racetracks with powerups and items scattered along the track. The game uses a grand-prix format, with each racetrack beginning where the previous one ended.
