Willy Builder (or Willy for short) is the local builder. He runs the shop of the same name, and will come to the garden to construct any needed buildings.

He is married to Lottie, and the two live together.

Biography

Gameplay

Willy is quick to offer his services at the start of the game. His shop can be visited from the Village menu, where a variety of buildings are on sale. Once the desired building has been chosen, the player will be returned to the garden to place a large work shed roughly in the shape of the desired building.

Make sure that the door to the work shed is accessible, as this is both where Willy will enter to construct the building, and marks the front when it is completed.

Once the work shed has been placed, Willy will arrive in the garden to get to work. He can be watered and hit like other NPCs, though this will just get him annoyed and does not have any special interactions. Just leave him to his work. Willy will enter the work area and place a timer over the door. The construction time varies by construction, and loud banging can be heard from inside.

Once he is done, Willy will exit the work shed and place a seal over the door. At this point, the work shed can be struck with the shovel. This will remove the construction tarp and reveal the finished building. Willy will hang around the garden until the building is revealed, and taking too long to do so will make him annoyed.

Once everything is finished, Willy will return to his shop. The shop is not available to visit while he is in the garden. Once placed, a building cannot be moved unless it is packed in a crate, sent away, and unpacked again.

Mini-Games

Willy in The P Factor

Willy can participate in the mini-games added in Trouble in Paradise. As an opponent, he will use a Sweetooth.

As a judge in The P Factor, Willy prefers piñatas that have romanced many times. This is opposite to the Loather, who prefers piñatas that haven't romanced.
